A Motivation Letter To Myself

9:00 AM

Dear Me,

Down in the roughs I see. I understand your struggle, but that doesn't define you as a person. Once you're out of this difficult time you will be stronger than you were before. You have to look at the bright side of things and not focus so much on the dimmer things. Leave the past behind you.

I only ask one thing of you; be happy. You have amazing friends and family, who are always there to listen to you. Now I understand school can be stressful, but you just have to work hard. I know there are times you want to give up and wonder 'what's the point?'. But nothing will ever be perfect. Always think about why you started, then work your butt off. It will all be worth it in the end.

Put down your phone and live your life to the fullest. There's a difference between dreaming and doing. You're wasting precious time. Enjoy the beauty of nature, spend time with your friends; there's so much you could be doing right this moment! (That paint war you've always wanted to do. Hint).

Everyone makes mistakes and goes through a rough time. Everyone has problems, but a problem will not last forever. Life is short. Go out and have fun! You'll regret not spending time with family or friends, especially when you go to college. The phone will still be where you left it once you return. Now go one, seize the day (or should I say Carpe Diem?).

Task of the day: Write yourself a motivational letter.
